ISO 37001:2016 Certification: Chiesi Farmaceutici Starts the Extension Process of the Certification to the Affiliates of the Group

As part of our commitment to preventing bribery and in accordance to the highest standards of compliance, Chiesi Farmaceutici has decided to start the extension process of the ISO 37001:2016 certification on Anti-Bribery Management Systems - obtained in March 2024 - to the affiliates of the Group.

The large-scale extension of this certification reflects the "zero tolerance" approach adopted by the Group in the fight against bribery, as well as the desire to promote business practices based on the principles of transparency and accountability.

Chiesi Italia S.p.A. was the first affiliate to take part in this extension process and, following the obtainment of the ISO 37001:2016 certification in April 2025, to be officially included in the Group certification.

This achievement has been possible only thanks to the collaboration of a dedicated cross-functional team, composed of the Functions mainly affected by the Anti-Bribery Management System of Chiesi Farmaceutici and Chiesi Italia.

Valentina Fanelli, Lead Legal Counsel, Ethics, Transparency & Anti-bribery, at Chiesi Farmaceutici, has stated that the certification "represents a confirmation of the solidity and effectiveness of the Anti-Bribery Management System and of the control measures implemented by our organization, as well as of the high level of awareness and compliance culture widespread within Chiesi."

Information on ISO 37001:2016: ISO 37001:2016 is an international standard published by the ISO (International Organisation for Standardisation) in 2016 that companies can use to implement and certify their anti-bribery management system designed to prevent, detect and address bribery. The ISO 37001:2016 standard (that has been recently updated with the release of the 2025 version) is inspired by the international best practices and can be used in all jurisdictions.
