Our company has always been driven by the desire to leave a positive footprint for the future and act as a force for good. Our aim is to be recognised as a research-focused international group that develops innovative pharmaceutical solutions to improve the quality of human life.

Our Sustainability Journey
Our drive to act as a force for good has informed our corporate social responsibility since our first laboratory opened in Parma in 1935.
This is why we have integrated sustainability in our business model, and the concept of shared value into our own bylaws. Today, Chiesi is a Benefit Corporation in Italy (Società Benefit), in France (Societé à mission), and in the United States.
We are also a certified B Corp. Our efforts to operate in a sustainable, transparenttransparent, and responsible way towards society and the environment are monitored and verified by B Lab, a global nonprofit network that promotes an inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economy.
Our B Corp certification is today part of our company DNA, and a testament to our long-standing commitment to creating shared value.
