Chiesi’s new innovation initiative The Impulse is delighted to announce the launch of an innovation challenge through an exciting new collaboration with the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, or EIT Health, an EU-funded network of best-in-class health innovators.
The innovation challenge drew participation from nearly 30 startups in the InnoStars region, covering half of Europe, including Portugal, Italy, Poland, Hungary, Croatia, Czechia, Estonia, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia Slovenia and Romania. The top 6 startups have been shortlisted for potential pilot projects. Chiesi is committed to turning concepts into tangible advancements in patient care, by creating a dynamic environment where promising ideas are cultivated into real-world solutions.
The partnership with EIT Health also presents opportunities for collaboration with over 120 leading institutions, companies, and universities across Europe, including Sorbonne University, GE Healthcare, Karolinska Institute and Philips. This partnership aims to blur the lines between innovation and patient-centric care, helping promising ideas flourish into real world innovation for healthcare related solutions.
Being part of EIT Health will boost and support our connection with the European ecosystem, reinforcing our value proposition through the scouting of promising solutions in our core areas, the development of innovative learning journeys and the synergy with other EIT members on projects of common interest focused on entrepreneurship and innovation.
