Andrea Chiesi

Andrea Chiesi was born in Parma on July 15, 1967. Married, with one daughter. He graduated from the University of Parma with a degree in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technologies in 1992.
He joined the company in 1993 as an analyst in Pharmaceutical Technology, became a Project Leader in 1997, and assumed the responsibility for Research Planning and Control in 1999.
In 2006, he obtained an Executive MBA from the London Business School and Columbia University.
After holding various operational positions in R&D, he became the director of the R&D Portfolio Management function in 2009.
Until 2019, he served as President of the "Arrigo Boito" Conservatory of Music in Parma.
He is the President of the Board of Directors of Confindustria Emilia-Romagna Ricerche and the Cultural Association Footprint, as well as a member of the Council of the Prometeo Arts Foundation.
