Chiesi presente all’American Thoracic Society Conference
Saranno otto gli abstracts dal portfolio globale di ricerca in ambito respiratorio di Chiesi che verranno presentati a partire dal 17 Maggio 2024 alla Conferenza Internazionale American Thoracic Society (ATS) 2024 a San Diego. Le presentazioni includono studi globali in fase preclinica e clinica sull'asma, sulla Bronco Pneumopatia Cronica Ostruttiva (BPCO) e altri disturbi respiratori. “Attraverso l’area di business Air, Chiesi vanta diversi decenni di esperienza nella fornitura di medicinali innovativi in Europa, e siamo entusiasti di condividere alcune delle ricerche a supporto dei nostri progressi scientifici globali in ambito respiratorio anche all'ATS”, ha affermato Carmen Dell’Anna, Head of Global Medical Affairs, del Gruppo Chiesi. “Insieme agli aggiornamenti sui progetti di ricerca scientifica, gli esperti dell’Innovation Hub di Chiesi si concentreranno sulla discussione del ruolo della disfunzione delle piccole vie aeree e della limitazione persistente del flusso d'aria nei pazienti con asma. Con una solida presenza alla conferenza ATS quest’anno, confermiamo il nostro impegno nell'affrontare i problemi legati alle malattie respiratorie concentrandoci sulla creazione di valore condiviso per le persone e per il pianeta.” Dimostrando l’impegno dell’azienda verso l’innovazione, Chiesi è sponsor – Sapphire level- dell’annuale ATS Research Program Benefit. Chiesi inoltre sponsorizza una borsa di ricerca annuale per un ricercatore sulle malattie respiratorie, al fine di approfondire la comprensione delle malattie ostruttive polmonari. La Fondazione Chiesi inoltre parteciperà alla conferenza con una sessione chiamata “Global Health Inequities in Chronic Respiratory Disease: Challenges and Potential Solutions" (Disuguaglianze sanitarie globali nelle malattie respiratorie croniche: Sfide e Soluzioni Potenziali). Presieduta dal Dr. Mario Scuri, MD, PhD, GASP Technical Advisor della Fondazione Chiesi, la sessione vedrà la partecipazione di relatori affermati, tra cui Dr. William Checkley, Dr. Laura Nicolaou, e Dr. Robert D. Levy. Il business di Chiesi US in ambito respiratorio continua a crescere da quando, il 6 Maggio 2024, è stato firmato un accordo con Gossamer Bio per lo sviluppo e la commercializzazione di seralutinib. Una collaborazione basata sulla leadership di Chiesi per gli inalatori e sull’expertise di Gossamer nel campo dell’ipertensione polmonare, con l’obiettivo di rispondere a bisogni clinici non ancora soddisfatti.

In Chiesi, ci proponiamo di creare un ambiente inclusivo e promuovere una cultura in cui tutti si sentano valorizzati, rispettati e liberi di esprimersi, rendendo la nostra azienda #ThePlaceToBe. Questo obiettivo è raggiungibile grazie alla guida della nostra Strategia e Visione e Strategia Globale D&I e al supporto del nostro Global D&I Committee, che hanno contribuito al lancio di una nuova iniziativa chiamata Chiesi Affinity Networks (CANs). I CANs sono Employee Resource Groups (ERG), iniziative gestite da collaboratori che puntano a promuovere la diversità e l'inclusione sul luogo di lavoro. Questi instaurano un senso di appartenenza, incoraggiano il dialogo e hanno un ruolo cruciale nel creare un ambiente in cui i dipendenti si sentono liberi di essere sé stessi, promuovendo relazioni basate su un elevato livello di fiducia, fondamentali per l'innovazione. I CANs sono a tutti gli effetti gruppi guidati da volontari che si riuniscono sotto il nome di una comune affinità, causa o un tema, per dare voce a bisogni invisibili e creare uno spazio di discussione, idee e soluzioni concrete per Chiesi. Ci sono già diversi CAN attivi, scopriteli tutti! CANs esistenti: OBIETTIVI: Essere una risorsa visibile e accessibile per tutti i dipendenti ed essere uno strumento per il continuo miglioramento dell'ambiente di lavoro, portando avanti iniziative di educazione e sensibilizzazione su tematiche LGBTQ+ in azienda. Contribuire a coltivare una maggiore comprensione delle diverse culture, promuovendo l'internazionalizzazione del modo nostro modo di lavorare e collaborare. Puntiamo a ottimizzare i nostri sforzi collettivi implementando i punti di forza intrinseci a ciascuna prospettiva culturale. Promuovere un cambiamento di mentalità su come gli individui percepiscono le proprie capacità e disabilità, incoraggiandoli a considerare le sfide e le limitazioni come opportunità di adattamento. L'obiettivo è promuovere l'inclusività e una maggiore valorizzazione delle diverse capacità di ognuno. Promuovere la consapevolezza delle differenze generazionali, creare e sostenere un gruppo diversificato grazie al contributo di diverse generazioni dove vengono condivise esperienze e vengono promosse creatività, motivazione e ambizione. Dare visibilità alle peculiarità dei diversi stili di vita, ai valori che apportano, alle sfide e ai bisogni che implicano, proponendo azioni per migliorare la salute mentale. Sostenere e creare legami tra le donne in Chiesi, promuovendo l'empowerment di genere attraverso campagne di comunicazione, programmi di formazione e la celebrazione di alcune giornate internazionali.

Chiesi Farmaceutici S.p.A. ha ottenuto la certificazione ISO 37001:2016 del proprio Sistema Anticorruzione Dieci mesi di lavoro, oltre 70 persone e più di 20 dipartimenti coinvolti: questi i numeri dietro la certificazione di Chiesi. Questa certificazione, ottenuta grazie alla collaborazione di un team interfunzionale dedicato, conferma l’impegno della Società ad operare seguendo i più elevati standard di compliance e in modo etico. Si tratta di un riconoscimento della solidità del sistema anticorruzione implementato da Chiesi e dell'elevato livello di consapevolezza dei suoi collaboratori. Chiesi ottiene la medaglia di platino da EcoVadis
A testimonianza del suo costante impegno per la sostenibilità, Chiesi annuncia con orgoglio il conseguimento della medaglia di platino da parte di EcoVadis, con il punteggio di 78/100. Questo importante riconoscimento colloca l'azienda tra le prime organizzazioni valutate da Ecovadis. Le medaglie di platino di EcoVadis vengono assegnate alle aziende che non solo hanno completato il rigoroso processo di valutazione della propria catena di fornitura, ma hanno anche dimostrato di possedere sistemi di gestione eccezionali che rispondono a criteri di sostenibilità delineati dall’organizzazione. Per poter ottenere questo riconoscimento le aziende devono eccellere in quattro temi chiave: Ambiente, Etica, Lavoro e diritti umani e Sustainable Procurement. L'ottenimento di Chiesi della medaglia di platino da parte di EcoVadis non è solo un riconoscimento dei risultati ottenuti finora, ma anche una testimonianza del suo impegno costante nel plasmare un futuro più sostenibile per tutti. L'impegno di Chiesi per la parità retributiva tra uomini e donne ottiene la certificazione Fair Pay
In questa Giornata Internazionale della Donna Chiesi si unisce all'impegno delle Nazioni Unite per il 2024, "Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress", e annuncia con orgoglio una tappa significativa del suo impegno per la parità di genere. Il Gruppo biofarmaceutico internazionale ha ricevuto una certificazione di massimo livello (Leader) dal Fair Pay Innovation Lab, una rinomata organizzazione per la parità salariale, per aver ridotto il Gender Pay Gap al di sotto dell’1%. Questo traguardo evidenzia il costante impegno di Chiesi nella promozione di un luogo di lavoro inclusivo dove ogni dipendente viene rispettato e correttamente ricompensato per il proprio contributo. Il nostro percorso verso la parità è stato guidato da un approccio olistico. Abbiamo implementato due cicli retributivi basati sul merito, assicurando che il riconoscimento sia basato esclusivamente sulle prestazioni e sulle competenze, indipendentemente dal genere. Inoltre, abbiamo rivisto attentamente i nostri processi di gestione delle risorse umane per eliminare qualsiasi pregiudizio che potrebbe portare a una disparità di retribuzione. Oltre a queste misure, Chiesi attribuisce una grande importanza al reclutamento di donne in ruoli senior all’interno dell’azienda. Empowerment femminile nella scienza e nella sanità: l'impegno di Chiesi per la parità di genere
Nel 1936 Neive Terzi fu la prima ricercatrice assunta in Chiesi, un anno dopo la fondazione dell'azienda, pioniera nel settore sanitario. Non solo fu la prima dipendente laureata dell'epoca, ma gettò le basi di un percorso di emancipazione femminile che è diventato profondamente radicato nel DNA di Chiesi. Oggi, su oltre 6.500 dipendenti in tutto il mondo, il 55% è costituito da donne, percentuale che sale ulteriormente nel reparto Ricerca e Sviluppo, dove il 65% degli oltre 650 ricercatori e ricercatrici sono donne. Questi numeri testimoniano la dedizione di Chiesi all'inclusività, ma riflettono anche una tendenza globale che richiede una maggiore rappresentanza femminile nei settori scientifici. Secondo le Nazioni Unite, le ricercatrici tendono ad avere carriere più brevi e meno retribuite. Sebbene le ricercatrici rappresentino il 33,3% della forza lavoro del settore, solo il 12% dei membri delle accademie scientifiche nazionali sono donne. [1] Alla luce di queste sfide, Chiesi è fermamente decisa ad affrontare queste disparità e a creare un ambiente di lavoro in cui tutti i dipendenti possano prosperare, indipendentemente dal genere. Attraverso iniziative per le pari opportunità, retribuzioni e politiche di sostegno, il Gruppo mira a creare un ambiente in cui tutte le persone si sentano valorizzate, rispettate e giustamente ricompensate. Sfidare se stessi per andare oltre Nel 2021 Chiesi ha intrapreso una sfida globale per affrontare le disparità di genere all'interno dell'organizzazione. Nonostante registrasse già un basso divario retributivo a livello di Gruppo (-1,48%), il Gruppo ha cercato di superare i benchmark di settore riducendo ulteriormente il Gender Pay Gap. Nel 2022, con un anno di anticipo rispetto ai tempi previsti, Chiesi è riuscita a raggiungere l'obiettivo di ridurre il Gender Pay Gap al di sotto dell'1%, grazie a cicli di retribuzione per merito, una serie di aggiustamenti per l'equità retributiva, una revisione completa dei processi HR e un reclutamento mirato di donne in ruoli senior. Oggi il Gruppo Chiesi è orgoglioso di annunciare di aver ridotto il Gender Pay Gap a livello di Gruppo a -0,77%, un dato statisticamente non significativo e in linea con gli obiettivi internazionali. Questo divario retributivo di genere varia da Paese a Paese, ma è statisticamente non significativo nella maggior parte dei paesi. Non solo parole: Certificazione della parità di genere A testimonianza del suo costante impegno, Chiesi ha anche confermato la certificazione di parità di genere da parte di Bureau Veritas, in conformità alla legge italiana UNI/PdR 125:2022. La certificazione ha coinvolto sia Chiesi Farmaceutici che Chiesi Italia e comprende tutte le sei aree di indicatori (KPI) delineate dalle linee guida: cultura e strategia, governance, processi HR, opportunità di crescita e inclusione delle donne in azienda, parità retributiva tra i sessi, tutela dei genitori e conciliazione vita-lavoro.
